Our commitment
We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling. We keep our cookie usage to the minimum required to run the service securely.
Managing cookies
You can view and delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from logging in.

- Firefox: Settings → Privacy → Clear Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Data
Cookies and storage we use
Authentication Cookies
Retention: Session or up to 24 hours
Used to keep you logged in securely. When you sign in to Fix4Ever, we issue a JSON Web Token (JWT) stored in an httpOnly cookie so your session persists across page visits without exposing the token to scripts.
Key / name
- fix4ever_auth (httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict)
Security Cookies
Retention: Session
Protect your account against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. These tokens are validated on every state-changing request and are never accessible via JavaScript.
Key / name
- csrf_token
Preference Storage (localStorage)
Retention: Until you clear browser data
We use your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) to remember lightweight UI preferences such as draft service requests you have started but not yet submitted. This data never leaves your device.
Key / name
- fix4ever_draft_*
No advertising or analytics cookies
Fix4Ever does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising scripts at this time. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify users.
