TECHNICIAN SAFETY

How we verify every technician

No technician works on Fix4Ever without completing our full verification process. This is how we ensure you only deal with trusted professionals.

Identity Verification

Every technician submits a government-issued photo ID, PAN card, and a live selfie. Documents are reviewed before approval.

Technical Assessment

Technicians pass a platform-administered test. Scores determine their skill level: L1 (Beginner) through L4 (Expert).

Business Verification

Business entity type, registration details, and operational address are verified as part of the onboarding process.

Ongoing Rating System

Customers rate every completed service. Technicians with consistently poor ratings are flagged for admin review.

Device Safety

Your device is handled with care and accountability at every stage of the repair process.

  • No repair work begins before you approve the technician's quote.
  • You receive a real-time status update at every stage of the repair.
  • For Pickup & Drop, a verified Fix4Ever captain handles your device — not an unknown courier.
  • Technicians are required to document the device condition before starting any work.
  • If a dispute arises, an Admin escalation process is in place to review and resolve it.
  • You can chat directly with your assigned technician at any stage of the job.

Data & Privacy

We are clear about how your information is used and take meaningful steps to protect it.

  • Your personal data — name, phone, address — is used solely to facilitate your service request.
  • Fix4Ever does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Authentication uses secure JWT tokens.
  • You can request account deletion at any time by emailing support@fix4ever.com.
  • Payment transactions are processed by Cashfree, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Fix4Ever does not store card details.
